I was skeptical at first given the fawning and oftentimes strangely concurrent reviews for Bianco Brioni suits but upon receiving the item I was pleasantly surprised. The suit is indeed made of wool, seems to be well-stitched, and has many details that set it apart from other suits in this price range. The fit was fine and I merely had to have the sides brought in by a seamstress and the cuff as discussed below. And, wouldn’t you know it, she complimented the quality of the suit as well. Another experienced seamstress (the wife of a friend who bought the same suit) also gave the material and the sewing high regard.
The jacket fit quite well. The pants need to have the cuffs hemmed as they’re raw, which is actually nice as they fit quite well otherwise. You definitely want to have some white boxers/briefs as they’re pretty visible underneath. It’s a great buy for the price. I originally purchased it for a 1940’s Havana themed party and it was a big hit. I’ll probably work the jacket and pants into my summer wardrobe as separate pieces as I generally don’t have much use for a white linen suit. However, the quality seems pretty high, especially for the price point, so I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again in that fashion.
All in all, I would highly recommend this quality suit. It is a perfect addition to my wardrobe of medium price suits that I wear not only to the office, but to events etc as well.
